A Taste of Honey- Day 11

We walked through the streets of Jerusalem, first going to the Mount of Olives. It was an incredible view! There, Mr. Stan went through the majority of the story woven through the Bible. God’s hand is still on this nation!

The city of Jerusalem is somewhat of a tel; we walked underneath and it is basically another world.

Possible place where Jesus was tried before Pilate.

The Pool of Bethesda is where it is said the angel came down and troubled the water and people were healed.

These beautiful churches have incredible acoustics!
The streets are full of vendors, and they expect you to haggle. It is quite fun!

After trekking around the city for a good part of the day, we ended early and everyone had a chance to relax. After supper, most of the group went walking again to experience a little more of Jewish culture. There was a big celebration after Shabbat, and it was fun to see everyone having such a good time. The 2 mile walk home was very calm and peaceful. It’s hard to explain how nice it is here. Thanks again for your support and prayers!
