Taste of Honey (Leadership Study) Day 1

We arrived in Amman, Jordan after a 10 hour flight.

A short layover, where we heard for the first time the Muslim call to prayer coming over the loudspeaker. (Notice the prayer room sign in the picture above.) Then we were in the air to Tel Aviv.

We landed at Ben Gurion.

We’re on the bus, going up in the direction of Jerusalem. We drove through the valley of Aijalon where the sun stood still for Joshua.

We arrived at our hotel in Neve Ilan. We had our first real taste of Israel – a delicious buffet supper.

Looking forward to walking in the land in the days ahead.

  1. Andrew,
This is Daniel and Christy kenaston. Daniel is Jackie’s first son. We are eagerly watching and reading about this journey with great interest! We are missionaries in Ghana and all for of our children were born here. We are excitedly planing to go to Israel as a family in a year from now! Our oldest is 18 and youngest is 9.
Thank you for sharing this trip! We are planning our own trip and not planning on going on a tour so the different places and connecting them to the Bible history is so helpful!
I am sure there are so many special places to see.
Andrew, if you could list the top 10 places for us that would be very helpful. We plan to stay in an air bnb apt. and stay 10 -14 days in Israel.
This blog will be so helpful! And please feel free to take as many pictures as you wish! We will be following with keen interest!
Send our greetings to Virgil and Jackie! We are so happy for them!
