Taste of Honey-Day 1

We have arrived safely in the Land, the plane having been carried in the Hands of our Father,….and after stowing luggage and passengers into the crowded van,….

…We headed to Yaffo (Jaffa/Joppa), and listened to and learned from the story of Jonah. Can we choose to see repentance as a joy?  Peter also has the vision of the sheet here, and is it a coincidence that upon entrance into the Land, we, having been grafted in, are reminded of the first Gentile man that was invited to join the Story-Cornelius?

Here in Abrasha Park, we see also the Statue of Faith, commemorating Jacob’s Dream, Abraham’s offering of Isaac, and Joshua’s conquering Jericho. 

We experience overwhelming joy, awe & wonder to be seeing the places we’ve only read about, peace & excitement to be walking where Jesus walked, and reminded to ‘Be Still and know that I am God’.

We ‘feel the breeze’ coming off the Mediteranean Sea this afternoon, and appreciate the wharf . How did Jonah feel when he crawled on the boat here?

Beauty surrounds us, and penetrates our hearts, impacting us,  and deepening the appreciation of the Land that God loves so well!! 

Deu 11:11-12; But the land that you are going over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water by the rain from heaven, a land that the LORD your God cares for. The eyes of the LORD your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
