Road to Damascus, War and Syria

Omrit. On the road to Damascus: “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?”

Struck with blindness, Saul arose and entered the city. (this is the place in the gate where the king would sit)

And so we got closer to Damascus and Syria. Two UN soldiers having a discussion with Mt. Hermon in the background. This valley is where a huge tank battle, 70 Israeli to 900 Syrian, took place in 1972. The Syrian border is plainly visible.

Everything is not so far away.

Yes, there is no dull moment with these folks. They are a blessing! Community is being shaped and molded into each one.
